Winner Australian Timber Design Awards, Commercial Interior Fit Out 2010. Victoria’s most successful not for profit organization, the Brotherhood of St Laurence, approached me to design their new concept store Second Edition. Their new retail design required and apple docking station and book store incorporating a café. Inspired by the many folded cardboard boxes at Brotherhoods huge warehouse the ‘folded’ timber panels became a playful medium creating café, book shelf/wall detail and indeed the apple tree docking station.
