A hardcore skate and fashion store delivering the latest in skate gear and streetwear, Blunt Skateboarding Torquay is another bold retail venture from Strapper Surf owner Mike DiSciascio. Designed to reflect the raw energy of skate culture, the space embraces materials typically found in industrial and urban landscapes, creating a solid backdrop for its extensive product range.

Pushing creative boundaries, the store’s daring display techniques—like helmets showcased on skulls—add an unmistakable edge to the brand identity. Unexpected contrasts, such as Persian rugs laid over polished concrete floors, inject personality and texture without distracting from the core retail focus. Every design element is carefully curated to reflect attitude, authenticity, and the rebellious spirit of skateboarding.

Blunt Skateboarding’s distinctive aesthetic and immersive retail experience didn’t go unnoticed, earning the SBIA 2015 Shop Fit-Out of the Year award. A huge achievement—congratulations, Mike!
